The Illinois Section ARES HF Net meets on the first and third Sundays of each month at 4:30 P.M. on frequency 3.905 KHz LSB.

The Illinois Section ARES Digital HF Net meets every second Sunday of each month at 5:00 P.M. on frequency 3.590 KHz USB using the Olivia 16/500 digital mode.

The Kane County ARES meets every Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. on the KC9OEM (Kane County Office of Emergency Management) 2-meter repeater on a frequency 145.47 MHz (-600) and a PL of 103.5.

The Kendall County ARES meets every Wednesday at 8:00 P.M. on the N9FNS 2-meter repeater on a frequency of 147.375 MHz (+600) and a PL of 103.5.

Recurring Every Fourth Wednesday - Cook County ARES Net
The Cook County ARES Net meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 9:00 P.M. on the Suburban Amateur Radio Association (SARA) 2-meter repeater on a frequency of 146.88 MHz (-600) and a PL of 107.2. All amateur radio operators with 2-meter privileges and an interest in emergency and public service communications are welcome, without regard to ARES membership, ARRL membership, or county of residence. The net features a brief training session each month designed to improve each participant's competence in emergency communications. The net also includes announcements regarding emergency and public service communications.
